Truckspares Sponsor TW Bowler at the British Truck Racing Championship

Here at Truckspares, we are proud to sponsor the TW Bowler Racing Truck at this year’s British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC). This is something completely new to us and we cannot wait to see how this season unfolds.

Here at Truckspares, we are proud to sponsor the TW Bowler Racing Truck at this year’s British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC). This is something completely new to us and we cannot wait to see how this season unfolds.

TW Bowler has been involved with truck racing for many years and managed to achieve a 3rd place finish at Brands Hatch back in 2019. However, this year they are more determined than ever to have a good season and hope to get back on the podium. The TW Bowler team have all been working extremely hard these past few months to get the truck ready for the upcoming races.

Last month we witnessed the first BTRC meeting of the season which took place at Brands Hatch, which always attracts a large crowd due to the tracks extremely technical and challenging layout. Brands Hatch is often regarded as one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues which shows how far British Truck Racing has come in the last few years.

Why is Truck Racing so Special?

When truck racing was founded in the UK in 1984, there was only a small number of people interested in the sport, however, in recent years, the profile of truck racing continues to grow, not just in the UK but around the world too, with over 124,000 spectators visiting the Truck Grand Prix in Germany back in 2019.

Truck racing has captured the imagination of racing enthusiasts for many years and the figures continue to grow, with an event taking place nearly once a month at famous racetracks in the UK such as Brands Hatch and Donington Park. Some of the biggest manufacturers in motorsport represent the trucks in the British Truck Racing Championship including Mercedes who the seven time world champion Lewis Hamilton drives for in Formula 1.

As we’re sure you’re all aware truck racing and Formula 1 is completely different, but both provide excitement and entertainment. We hope to see you up and down the UK for the British Truck Racing Championship.
